On Friday evening, City Market will come alive as the Art & Soul of Savannah!  The countless galleries will stay open until 8pm into the evening while you take pleasure in the sights, sounds and tastes of City Market.

October 3rd

City Market hosts the 17th annual Heart of Savannah 5K Road Race and Walk, organized by the YMCA of Coastal Georgia. The race begins and ends in the City Market area. Kiddie run starts at 6:00 p.m. and the 5K Race at 6:20 p.m. For more information, call 354-6223.

Oct 9th

City Market hosts the annual Savannah Folk Music Society's "Folkfest" in the courtyards from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This popular event, which kicks off the Fall Folk Festival, includes a concert featuring folk artists from across the country and around the world.

December 12th

Bring the family to City Market for fun-filled activities including cookie decorating, making ornaments to take home, facepainting, a petting zoo, photos with Father Christmas in the Carriage Tours of Savannah cinderella carriage, and a choir performance.

Explore the beauty of holiday decorations including hundreds of lights and over 500 luminaria in the courtyard. Enjoy Christmas carolers, visit with Father Christmas, and sample holiday treats in the shops. Our annual Open House starts at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until 9:00pm.

Ring in the New Year at City Market! It's an outdoor street party and you are invited to join in the fun. Live music starts at 9:00 p.m. and lasts until 1:00 a.m. Free and open to the public; no tickets or reservations are required.
